The realization of the concept "Haandwork” was given shape in year 2006, when the company was founded by Aruna Das. Aruna who studied at NIFT , is also an alumni of coveted Parsons School of Design . Working at Nautica gave her a good exposure which she decided to bring at Haandworks.

Haandworks, deals in exquisite hand embroidery design swatches with sequins and other exquisite Indian thread work. It also deal with manufacturing of embroidered tunics, Indian salwar suits and sarees, scarves, stolls and pashmina shawls.

Our expertise comes in with having worked extensively in domestic market and training at Parsons School of Design. The company itself has set a target to provide work for skilled, semi skilled men and women who have not got minimum basic education. We believe in providing quality craftsmanship in our products. Currently we have our own in-house design work.
Most of the products we have made and developed have been used in making western wedding gowns hence we also are proud to say that our products help in bringing lives together.
